Het Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP) is een online systeem dat door de Europese Unie is opgezet voor de kennisgeving van cosmetische producten voordat ze op de markt worden gebracht. Dankzij de CPNP kunnen fabrikanten en distributeurs essentiële informatie over hun producten aan de nationale autoriteiten verstrekken en ervoor zorgen dat de cosmetische regelgeving wordt nageleefd. Dit gecentraliseerde platform helpt de monitoring en regulering van cosmetische producten te vergemakkelijken om de veiligheid van de consument te garanderen. Via de CPNP hebben autoriteiten toegang tot de noodzakelijke productgegevens, waaronder ingrediënten, etikettering en veiligheidsbeoordelingen. Uiteindelijk heeft de CPNP tot doel de transparantie en veiligheid op de cosmeticamarkt te vergroten (Europese Commissie, 2020).
